U.S. Highway 53 Corridor Study

The City partnered with ISG to shape a new vision for the U.S. Highway 53 Corridor, aiming to enhance mobility, foster sustainability, and drive economic development. Our design team conducted a comprehensive corridor study on four key intersections to assess options for redevelopment, sidewalks, intersections, streetscaping, connectivity, multi-modal transportation, stormwater management, wayfinding signs, and gateway monuments. Public workshops, open houses, focus groups, and business-owner meetings were utilized in design to shape Highway 53 into a vibrant piece of the community.
