Silica Sand Mine Expansion

ISG oversaw environmental components of the silica sand mine expansion, securing a Conditional Use Permit and an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), which outlined the impact the project would have on its surrounding environment. Additionally, we navigated complex regulatory permitting processes with state and local agencies to develop a first-of-its-kind Calcareous Fen Management Plan (CFMP), demonstrating effective design solutions to protect ecological communities while also meeting industry demands and standard mining practices.
