Lanesboro Consecutive Connection + Water Tower Demolition

Due to the deteriorating conditions of Lanesboro's well and water tower and significant treatment plant failure, the City partnered with ISG to enhance water quality and address critical infrastructure needs. The first phase involved constructing a six-inch water main to connect Lanesboro to Lake City's distribution system. The outdated wells and the existing water treatment plant located in the fire department’s facility were decommissioned, allowing space to be repurposed for meeting rooms and offices. The second phase focused on demolishing the 83-year-old elevated water storage tank. These improvements ensure reliable access to clean water while optimizing community space for future development.
