Lake Washington Regional Park + Campground

Originally purchased in the 1970s by Le Sueur County to safeguard the landscape and grant public access to Lake Washington, Lake Washington Regional Park and Campground spans 166 acres. To secure funding for needed improvements, ISG developed a phased plan to enhance accessibility, connectivity, and visitor accommodations. Site designs focused on preserving natural resources while granting shoreline access and immersion in nature. Enhanced connectivity includes an extended paved trail and bridge over Shanaska Creek. The park also includes a non-motorized boat launch, wayfinding signage, and an onsite kiosk for camper check-ins.

  • 1.5-mile bituminous trail loop
  • Leveraged plan to secure over $900,000 in state funding
  • Achieved regional significant destination status

ISG is a large, professional firm with a personal, small-town feel. I have found them to be dedicated, passionate, and competent industry experts who often went the extra mile.
