Hotel Mankato

To address the City of Mankato’s critical shortage of hotel rooms necessary to support large-scale events, developers and investors partnered with ISG for the design of the Hotel Mankato revitalization project. The existing site will make way for two adjoining hotels—Marriott AC and Element by Westin. The development will take advantage of its location near major highways, the Minnesota River, and key amenities like the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center. It will also feature a rooftop restaurant, a common lobby, pool, and fitness center, as well as connection to the downtown skywalk and parking ramp.

Local collaboration and support are key aspects of the project, involving local general contractors and design partners. Additionally, the objective is to integrate key community stakeholders, local and regional culture, and lifestyle branding into the design to further support Hotel Mankato’s success.
