Farr’s Landing Mitigation Bank Restoration

The Farr’s Landing Mitigation Bank Restoration project led by ISG, represents South Dakota's first combined wetland and stream mitigation bank, generating both credit types. Goals include improving water quality, enhancing aquatic and wildlife habitats, stabilizing streams, and re-establishing floodplain connectivity. The stream's length will be increased, enhancing its natural alignment and ecological functions. The completed project will support long-term ecological stability and function by establishing native vegetation, improving floodplain connectivity, and restoring the site’s natural hydrology regime and vegetation community.
