To accelerate economic development and scientific advancements, the University of South Dakota is building the first of several planned buildings in a mixed-use development. Constructed to provide a mutually beneficial location that attracts and retains bioscience, healthcare, and life science companies, the Center for Innovation serves as a hub for invention, collaboration, and commerce. Its strategic location maximizes existing and future infrastructure and optimizes external investment potential. ISG designed flexible space and building systems capable of accommodating various bioscience applications, including specialized HVAC, humidity regulation, scientific gas management, vibration control, efficient equipment maneuvering, privacy and screening measures, and controlled access.
ISG is working in collaboration with McGough Construction to optimize investments, oversee construction, local resources, and materials to ensure a cost-effective bid package. Construction is underway and set for completion in December 2024. Learn more about the 80-acre University of South Dakota Discovery District Master Plan.
