Leading ESOP Firm Earns Top 10 on Zweig Group Hot Firm List and Trifecta Award

June 27, 2019 (Mankato, Minnesota) – Nationwide impact is being led by Midwest-based ESOP firm ISG, with the firm having earned a Top 10 spot on the coveted Zweig Group Top 100 Hot Firm List. The architecture, engineering, environmental, and planning firm with 300 professionals in offices across four states has earned a spot on the list for eight years in a row, breaking through the Top 10 in 2019 to surpass last year’s #14 Hot Firm ranking. ISG also earned, again, a Marketing Excellence Award and Best Firms to Work For designation in various categories, including multi-disciplinary.

With 12 focus industries/markets, many of which are working to support the ever-growing population, food supply, economic development, youth, trades, and overall commerce, the role in which ISG serves is well beyond growth figures on a list.

“At ISG, we are committed to a ‘Better Decisions Faster’ mantra. We recognize that the markets we serve need to make better decisions with respect to efficiency, performance, and sustainability in order to succeed in an ever-competitive world,” states Chad Surprenant, PE, ISG CEO. “ISG’s industries/market-structure approach is centered around learning, listening, and being a knowledgeable partner alongside our clients. Finding better decisions faster achieves the right solution in an expedited fashion, both of which are invaluable.”

Per Zweig Group Award recipient data, ISG is the only Midwest firm to make the Top 10 list in 2019. ISG is also only one of two firms within the Top 10 who made the list every year, over the past 5 years.

“The Hot Firm List is an important measure of business success, recognizing growth. Making it into the Top 10 this year puts ISG among an extraordinary pedigree of AEC firms, elevating the industry in everything they do,” notes Chad Clinehens, Zweig Group CEO. “Today, more than ever, we need to celebrate success and get as much positive exposure for the industry as we can. Growing firms are better able to compete, for both clients and talent, proven by ISG as they climb the Hot Firm list.”
