March 29, 2016 (Minneapolis, MN) – ISG is pleased to announce the recent asset acquisition of Excelsior-based Svoboda Ecological Resources (SER), adding to the multi-disciplinary firm’s Environmental Service offerings. For over 25 years, SER has provided ecological planning and assessment services to private and public clients across the Midwest.
“ISG has partnered with SER since 2000. Since then, ISG has grown its Environmental Services offerings greatly, and when it came time for Frank Svoboda to transition his firm forward, we were extremely honored to provide him and his clients a solid solution,” stated Chad Surprenant, ISG President and CEO.
Given the depth and scope of Environmental Services currently provided by ISG, the transition will provide SER’s clients with an expanded line of environmental solutions while complimenting the innovative technology provided on ISG projects. Environmental planning and feasibility, monitoring and testing, permitting, and assessments represent the full range of services that are available to public and private organizations, now with the added data and technological components previously offered by SER.
With intimate first-hand knowledge of environmental rules and conservation measures, the acquisition will augment ISG’s services within a growing Environmental Group. “As natural resources are pressured from growing populations, development practices, and environmental factors, we will remain vigilant in the promotion of our unique Environmental Services to encourage stewardship and protection of the habitats and resources that are vital to everyday life,” notes Travis Fristed, ISG Environmental Services Group Manager.
This year marks an exciting milestone for ISG’s Des Moines, Iowa office as we celebrate a decade of dedication and service to our local community. Over the past ten years, our team has been privileged to contribute to numerous projects that have shaped the landscape and enhanced the quality of life for residents in Central Iowa.
ISG will host the second annual Future of Southern Minnesota Lakes Conference at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato, Minnesota. The conference will open on Friday evening, April 12, with a fireside chat featuring writer and host of the television show "Minnesota Bound," Ron Schara.
